From new country artists and iconic rock groups to a celebrity chef and classic country stars, Grand Casino’s entertainment lineup features a variety of performers for all generations to enjoy.
Grand Casino Hinckley’s Amphitheater lineup – Summer on the Grand Stage – kicks off on May 21 with Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts followed by eight other not-to-miss shows.

May 13: Platinum-selling country music artist Rodney Atkins will take the stage at the Grand Casino Mille Lacs Events & Convention Center at 7:30 p.m. Atkins is best known for hits such as “Watching you,” “Take a Back Road” and “Farmer’s Daughter.” Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. for $35 and $25.
May 13 & 14: Grand Casino Hinckley has once again booked the world’s most recognized name in ladies entertainment – the Chippendales® – straight from Las Vegas! The high class, professionally choreographed male revue will perform at 8p.m.both nights. Tickets are on sale now for $30, $25 and $20.
May 20-22: Grand Casino Hinckley will host the 38th Annual Chmielewski International Polka Festival featuring Mollie B from RFD-TV. The event will take place on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. and Sunday, May 22 at 10 a.m. in the Events Center. Tickets are on sale now for $15 to $45 for a three-day pass.
May 21: Two of rock music’s most iconic bands will hit the stage together at Grand Casino Hinckley, Heart and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts will perform on Saturday, May 21 at 7 p.m. Heart stormed the charts in the 1970’s with hits such as “Crazy On You,” “Magic Man” and “Barracuda.” Going into the 1980’s, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts made their way onto the charts with hits such as “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll,” “Bad Reputation” and “Crimson and Clover.” Tickets go on sale on Saturday, March 5 at 10 a.m. for $65, $60, $55, $50, $40 and $35.
May 27: Celebrity chef – Robert Irvine – will host a live dinner show at Grand Casino Hinckley on Friday, May 27 at 7:30 p.m. Come join us for a great show and a delicious three course meal. Tickets are on sale now for $75 (three-course meal included).
June 24: The rock and roll powerhouse – Lynyrd Skynyrd (with TBD guest) will take the Amphitheater stage at Grand Casino Hinckley on Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. The band will perform the beloved classic “Sweet Home Alabama,” along with many other hits such as “Gimme Three Steps,” “Simple Man” and “Free Bird.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. for $75, $70, $65, $55, $45 and $40.
June 25: Bad Company (with TBD guest) will perform at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheater on Saturday, June 25 at 7 p.m. They are known for many timeless classics such as “Bad Company,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “Shooting Star.” Tickets go on sale Thursday, March 17 at 10 a.m. for $75, $70, $65, $55, $45 and $40.
July 8: New Artist of the Year winner – Hunter Hayes (along with TBD guest) –will perform at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheater on Friday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. He is known for popular hits such as “Wanted,” “I Want Crazy” and “Invisible.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. for $60, $50, $45, $35, $30 and $25
July 9: Country Music Hall of Famers – Alabama – are back at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheater on Saturday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. This award-winning group is known for many hits such as “Song of the South,” “Angels Among Us” and “Mountain Music.” Tickets go on sale Friday, February 26 at 10 a.m. for $85, $75, $65, $55, $50 and $40.
July 29: Get ready to rock at Grand Casino Hinckley when 3 Doors Down and Three Days Grace take the Amphitheater stage on Friday, July 29 at 7 p.m. The collaboration will bring such hits as “Here Without You” and “Break.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. for $75, $70, $65, $55, $45 and $40.
August 5: Award-winning country music artist – Alan Jackson – will light up the Amphitheater stage at Grand Casino Hinckley on Friday, August 5 at 7:30 p.m. Jackson is known for many great hits such as “Remember When,” “Gone Country,” “Little Bitty” and “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 16 at 10 a.m. for $100, $80, $70, $60, $50 and $45.
August 26: Chart-topping country trio – Lady Antebellum will perform at the Grand Casino Hinckley Amphitheater on Friday, August 26 at 7:30 p.m. The group is known for hits such as “Need you now,” “Downtown” and “Just a Kiss.” Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. for $90, $80, $70, $60, $55 and $45.
September 9 & 10: Are you ready to rock? Grand Casino Hinckley is excited to host the two-day Grand RockTember Music Festival IV. The fun begins on Friday, September 9 at 5 p.m. and continues on Saturday, September 10 at 1 p.m. RockTember IV will feature legendary bands like Jackyl, Queensryche, Tom Keifer, Vixen, Dokken, Night Ranger, Loverboy, Vince Neil, plus more will take the Amphitheater stage. Grand Casino Hinckley is a casino and hotel in Hinckley, Minnesota, United States, owned and operated by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe's Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures. It was formerly owned by Grand Casinos. The casino features gaming, accommodations, dining, conference and banquet facilities, live entertainment, and The Grand Harmony Spa and Grand National Golf Club. The casino employs more than 1,400 people. The Band also invests in infrastructure and economic development.[1]
Amenities[edit]
The Grand Casino Hinckley has 54,800 square feet of gaming space with 28 table games and 2,144 gaming machines. It is the largest employer in Pine County.[2] Attached to the casino, the Grand Hinckley Hotel has 563 rooms;[3] it is the tallest building between The Twin Cities and The Twin Ports on the list of tallest buildings in Minnesota. The casino opened a year after Mille Lacs, in 1992.
